How does the Bible depict one avenue by which folks will be deceived into accepting the Mark (Sunday worship in place of Sabbath worship) of the Beast (papacy)?
BY HER SORCERIES (DRUGS!) WERE ALL NATIONS DECEIVED!
Drugs introduced into the body disrupts a person’s ability to think with mental clarity, causing a lack of wise discernment, which opens the door to be easily deceived. Does a drunk driver have clear discernment? Drugs are connected to witchcraft and are a curse.

“… for by thy sorceries (pharmakeia/ pharmacy) were all nations deceived.” Rev 18:23
“A similar work will be accomplished when that other angel, represented in [Rev 18:1], gives his message. The first, second, and third angels’ messages will be repeated. The call will be given to the church, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” [Rev 18: 4.]
“Babylon, the great, is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. … Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues: for her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” [Rev 18: 2-5.]
Take each verse of this chapter, and read it carefully, especially the last two: “And the light of the candle shall shine no more in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy SORCERIES were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” [Rev 18: 23, 24.] {Ms92a-1898.11-13}
“Among the converts in Samaria was one Simon, who, by the power of Satan through sorcerers, had gained great fame among the people. “To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with SORCERIES.” But when he saw a greater power manifested by the apostles in healing the sick and in converting souls to the truth, he thought that by uniting with the believers in Christ he might do wonders equal to those accomplished by the apostles. He hoped thus to add greatly to his fame and wealth, for he made merchandise of his sorceries and Satanic arts, pretending to impart their secrets to others. “

And who is behind it? What are the characteristics of the beast?
But what is the “image to the beast”? and how is it to be formed? The image is made by the two-horned beast, and is an image to the first beast. It is also called an image of the beast. Then to learn what the image is like, and how it is to be formed, we must study the characteristics of the beast itself, —the papacy.

How will Rev 13:17 (economic boycott- restrictions upon those who will not accept the MARK of the beast: false Sunday Sabbath) possibly be implemented?
And he (USA via civil power) had power to give life unto the image (apostate Protestants) of the beast (papacy), that the image of the beast (apostate Protestants) should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed (death decre).
