More About Jesus

More about Jesus would I know,
More of His grace to others show;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

Refrain:
More, more about Jesus,
More, more about Jesus;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

More about Jesus let me learn,
More of His holy will discern;
Spirit of God, my teacher be,
Showing the things of Christ to me.

More about Jesus, in His Word,
Holding communion with my Lord;
Hearing His voice in every line,
Making each faithful saying mine.

More about Jesus on His throne,
Riches in glory all His own;
More of His kingdom’s sure increase;
More of His coming, Prince of Peace.

“Suppose a friend were with us, and we should meet an acquaintance on the way and direct our whole attention to our new-found acquaintance, ignoring the presence of our friend, what opinion would men have of our loyalty to our friend, of our degree of respect to him? And yet this is the way we treat Jesus. We forget that he is our companion. We engage in conversation, and never mention his name or include his instruction in our words. We talk of worldly business matters, and where it does not bruise the soul, where it is essential, we do not dishonor Jesus, but we do dishonor him when we fail to mention him in our intercourse with our friends and associates. He is our best friend, and we should seek for opportunities to speak of him. We should ever remember that he is at our right hand, that we should not be moved, and we should ever keep him in view. Our conversation should be of a character that would be of no offense to God. We are to be overcomers, copartners with Jesus, not lending our influence to the work of the enemy. Although “God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” yet not a soul of us will be saved who fails to cooperate with God. Although our salvation is dependent upon our cooperation with God, yet we can take no glory to ourselves; for Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith; all the glory is to rebound to God. Christ is the beginning and the end, and we are utterly dependent upon him.”
– The Signs of the Times {ST, January 9, 1893 par. 8}

Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His. “With His stripes we are healed.”

Welcome to God’s website!  Designed for those with inquisitive minds, desiring to know truth for these last days (Ps 19:10)!

This website is about our Heavenly Father who sent His Dear Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins— to die the death that we deserve —that we may escape the penalty of eternal death (Col 2:14) and have eternal life. (John 3:16)  What a loving Saviour!

This site is designed for men from all walks of life— as God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), desiring that all should come to repentance (2Pet 3:9), escaping the corruptions in this world (2 Pet 1:4) to be rewarded with the privilege of abiding in the presence of His dear Son, Jesus, throughout eternity (Luke 6:23).

Time is short (Rev 12:12).  We have not a moment to lose as perilous times are upon us (2Tim 3:1)!  What the flock needs now is present truth (2Pet 1:12). Present truth of the last prophecies are brought to view in the books of Daniel and Revelation. Present truth of the 3rd (Rev 14) and 4th (Rev 18) angel’s messages declaring that salvation (probation) is nearing its close for humanity and judgment (7 last plagues) will fall upon the disobedient. Today we must make a decision. Today is the day of salvation (Luke 19:9).

A knowledge of, and acting upon, present truth will set our feet as a compass, in a direct course on the straight and narrow pathway (Matt 7:14) that will lead to the kingdom of heaven. We must trust God and lean upon Him fully for understanding (Prov 3:5). Exercising faith in God’s ability to help us understand the prophecies, will keep our minds from darkness and feet from trodding down the path of error. God desires we come to the light of truth (Heb 3:12; Rom 4:20; Isa 9:2).

Where to begin?  Begin with prayer. Prayer unlocks the storehouse of heaven (18MR 338.4). Ask for understanding and wisdom (Prov 2:6). It is only God’s Holy Spirit that brings discernment and understanding (John 15:26, 27; 16:13). Allow Him to be your Guide. Be sure to follow all the light the Lord reveals, then He will bring you more light!

Many will have to learn quickly what it took others years in learning  (ExV 55.1).  So, please do not be dismayed (Isa 41:10) or feel overwhelmed with all these prophecies. With God, ALL things are possible (Matt 19:26). God is simple (Matt 11:30). “God can teach you more in one moment by His Holy Spirit than you could learn from the great men of the earth”.  {RH February 18, 1890, par. 23)

WHERE TO START?

A good place to start is by reading the following book which covers the Biblical historical record from the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D, exposes Satan’s deceptions against Christianity, God’s plan of redemption for mankind and brings us down to earth’s thrilling final events that will determine our eternal destiny. We need to learn quickly since we are at the end of this worlds history and this volume covers all the history in a very concise manner:

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning.
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

Prov 9:8

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

~Smile~ For sure this page is the warmest ” Welcome ” I have ever seen. Very nicely put, a sure guidance for those searching for truth, especially for ” Beginners “. You have made the navigation of this site easy to follow and I believe your website is surely going to be a ” Go To ” for all who want to study for these last days. Well Done !!

Greetings Brother Vinnie. Darrel and I do surely hope many will come to an understanding of this important salvational truth. “The destiny of souls hangs upon the manner in which they are received” (EW258.3). It is crucial to understand. If we miss this, we will repeat the history of the Jews, not knowing the time of our visitation! A Tragedy!
“The theme of greatest importance is the third angel’s message, embracing the messages of the first and second angels. All should understand the truths contained in these messages and demonstrate them in daily life, for this is essential to salvation. We shall have to study earnestly, prayerfully, in order to understand these grand truths; and our power to learn and comprehend will be taxed to the utmost.–Letter 97, 1902.” {Ev 196.1}
